Please feel free to give us any feedback on the race from the links below.

We were faced with a number of organisational challenges this year but with the help of all our fantastic volunteers, we hopefully pulled it off.

14/11/2009

The roadworks on the A1 have now moved to the Northbound carriageway which means that, although the Northbound carriageway will probably be closed on race day, getting to the event should be largely unaffected as the road closure is from the Wyboston (A428) exit that you'd normally use anyway.

If you are travelling from the North on the A1, the carriageway may be reduced to one lane around St Neots, so you may need to allow more time for your journey.

From the Wyboston exit, please follow the route explained in the (downloadable) race booklet or from the race instructions page.

There may be some delays in getting off the A1 at Wyboston and you should leave plenty of time to ensure you have enough time to park, walk to the race HQ at the St Neots Leisure Centre and collect your race pack. Also remember that you need enough time to fit your chip to your shoe, attach your race number and walk the 5-or-so minutes to the race start.

You will be able to pick up your race pack from approx. 8:00am onwards. Collection will be signposted from the main entrance of the Leisure Centre and will be organised into 6 alphabetical groups.

IMPORTANT NEWS - * UPDATED 08/11/2009

1) Due to the postal strike, we've decided not to mail out the race packs and we will be giving them out on the day.

2) There are roadworks on the A1 at the moment and it is possible that either the north or southbound carriageways will be closed on the day of the race. So far the closures have not affected the entry into St Neots, but it may be necessary to use a different exit. We will endeavour to signpost the correct exit on the day.

3) The offer system is now completely closed. Everyone who was on the waiting list was offered a place at least once (not all of them took the place offered to them).

4) The transfer system remains open until midnight on the night before the race. Remember, the transfer is not complete until the original entrant clicks the link in the transfer confirmation email. If you're in any doubt as to whether your transfer is complete, check the entry list. If you're not on there, the transfer has not completed and you are not permitted to run with the number.

3) The offer system is now closed. We'll use the 20-or-so offers we already have against the remaining waiting list entries, so everyone on the list should get offered a place at some stage (although if people use their full 3 day window to decide, it may be that some people will miss out).

Remember, it is your responsibility to check your emails regularly (and your spam box). If you don't take up an offer within a certain time, the offer will be withdrawn and you'll be placed at the bottom of the list.

Waiting List Now Open

01/10/2009

The waiting list for this year's race is now open.

If anyone has an entry that they no longer need, please offer it to our waiting list. If someone takes it, your race entry fee will be refunded (normally the full amount, but we may need to take a £2 administration fee if we can't refund through your credit card).

Remember, it is your responsibility to check your emails regularly (and your spam box). If you don't take up an offer within a certain time, the offer will be withdrawn and you'll be placed at the bottom of the list.
